DESCRIPTIONS:

  • Tier 1 / Templated Art
    • Customer selects from a library of pre-designed template layouts.
    • Client info such as Headlines, CTAs, images, logos body copy, offers/coupons, sig areas, are inserted into pre-defined locations in templates.
    • Layout changes/content addition not allowed.
    • Pre-defined maximum text character limits.
  • Tier 2 / Custom ‘Bespoke’ Art
    • Artist will utilize Creative Brief to interpret customer requests and campaign goals to provide a custom-design ad “from scratch.”
    • Completely unique to each customer.
    • Client could use Tier 2 to create a unique template for future Tier 1 ads.
  • BYOA – Bring Your Own Art (print-ready art)
    • Customer may provide print-ready art.
    • Must match the Mspark template (adjustments will incur a fee).
  • Other Fees
    • Text-only Edit – Fee to make only text edits (e.g., price point, expiration date) to a previous ad; No design, font, color, photo changes.
    • Extension – If an extension is granted, this fee will be charged.
    • Late Order/Art – If a late order is granted, or if art is received late, this fee will be charged.
    • Additional Revision – If the client requests an additional revision beyond what is provided by their tier, this fee will be charged for each; Half hour minimum charge; This does not include revisions.
    • Text-heavy Ad – When an ad requires significant text work (e.g., menus), there is an incremental fee.
    • Blackplating – To reduce a client’s printing cost, Mspark offers blackplating services to add store addresses after full-color printing process is complete.
    • Resizing – If a print-ready art is not sized properly for the Mspark templates, there will be a resizing fee; If the art cannot be resized without redesign, the art will be rejected for client fix or client can pay for a Tier 2 Bespoke build.
    • Oversize Preprint Surcharge – Any preprint mailing exceeding 8.5″ x 11″ will incur an additional charge of $2 per thousand (M), added to the base rate.
    • Route (TPZ) Level Surcharge – Products processed at the route (TPZ) level will be subject to an additional $15 per thousand (M), added to the base rate.
    • Split Level Surcharge – Products processed at the split level will incur an additional $7.50 per thousand (M), added to the base rate.
    • Cancellations – If orders are cancelled, client is still responsible to pay for art services.
  • Email HTML
    • Because HTML email development involves coding, quality assurance, and cross-platform testing, any email creative that Mspark builds in HTML will be billed at our Tier 2 creative fee. This applies even for minor edits, as each change must be coded and re-tested to ensure compatibility across all major email clients (like Outlook, Gmail, and mobile devices).
    • Additionally, if a campaign includes multiple drops and each drop uses a different HTML version, a separate Tier 2 fee will apply for each unique version we create. However, if the same HTML is reused without changes across drops, only a single fee will be charged.
      • Tier 2 fee applies when Mspark codes the HTML creative.
      • Each unique HTML version triggers a separate Tier 2 fee.
      • Reusing the same HTML without changes does not incur additional creative fees.
    • If the client provides their own HTML version or reuses a previous one without any changes, we will test it but there will be no fee.
